I want to say as little as possible about this book as it is about the unexpected, the unknown and the blurred lines between truth and lies. The best way to describe is a modern day King Lear. A wealthy family spend summers on their own island. There are grandparents and three daughters all with their own children and financial problems. They’re far too proud to admit this so use the grandchildren as pawns with tragic consequences. It demands to be read in one sitting.
